Reserve April and May for Robin Hood and his Springtime Festival, but during September and October, it will be reserved for King Arthur's Fall Harvest Faire here in the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. It's a one-of-a-kind festival to be held in Hebron, CT, featuring people wearing their King Arthur-inspired outfits while celebrating the bounties of the harvest season. Musicians, acrobats, men eating fires, people clad in knight outfits, comedy shows, as well as magical encounters come abound in this annual festival. There are at least nine stages that will be made available to feature some of the most amazing shows in one of the largest variety festivals in New England. To help make this possible, there will be eight new acts, as well as returning favorites from performers coming in from all over the world. If you're already done with watching the oh-so-many shows, then you can just go into the greater portion of the festival grounds and indulge yourself shopping 'til you drop. These vendor booths feature a lot of items from food, to rare collectibles, to handmade goods that you will surely love to place in your home. And if you're also done with shopping, then why not try your luck playing some of the side games? There'll be eating contests and other festival games that will test your and your family's gaming prowess. Whatever your preferences are, I'm sure you're going to have fun here at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. It's going to be held during the weekends from September 25 to October 24 at the Lions Fair Grounds, 347 Gilean Street, Hebron, CT. Everyone is also encouraged to come in their King Arthur-inspired costumes, but it isn't going to be required. For more information about this year's festival, do check its official website here.
