Macau, the charming little state off the southern coast of China, have long been dubbed as the "Las Vegas of the Far East." Everyone that gets the chance to visit it said they fell in love with it.

And who wouldn't? With all the lights and glamor surrounding this tiny self-governing island-state, you will surely fall in love with it.

Resorts, casinos and big hotels make up most of Macau's economy. But that's not all. Macau is perfecting the art of entertainment and is becoming one of the preferred destinations for merry making.

They have recently opened The House of Dancing Water, an offering from the City of Dreams, which will truly entertain the child in you. It's a spectacular show one must not miss when visiting Macau. It is located in the reclaimed area called the Cotai Strip, a premiere entertainment district.

For those tight in budget, there are free-of-charge means of entertainment like the Performance Lake where jets of water in colorful lights dance, as well as the Dragon of Fortune and the much coveted Tree of Prosperity.
